This is the Battleships logic puzzle for one person, not the guessing game for two players. A fleet of ten ships is hidden on a 10 × 10 board, and the numbers along the edge tell you how many ship cells are in each row and each column.
This pack has ten puzzles: two easy, three medium, three hard and two expert. The fleet is printed under every board so you can check off the ships as you find them.
The pages are US Letter size. On A4 paper, choose "Fit to page" in the print window.

How to play Battleships
- A fleet of ten ships is hidden on the 10 × 10 board: one battleship (4 cells), two cruisers (3 cells), three destroyers (2 cells) and four submarines (1 cell).
- Every ship lies in a straight line, across or down.
- Ships never touch each other, not even at a corner.
- The numbers along the edge tell you how many ship cells are in each row and each column.
- The cells printed at the start are either water or part of a ship. The shape of a ship part shows whether it is an end, a middle or a submarine.
First steps
A row or column marked 0 is all water. When a row or column already has all of its ship cells, the rest of it is water. Mark water all around each finished ship, because ships never touch.
